Time for the second task IBMC #02: Freeze a Foto Challenge

Here’s my entry:

These images are from way back in school days.

For me, if I look back now, those days were not far from being perfect. Of course it wasn’t a cakewalk, what with all those fights, disagreements, jealousy, and other bitter memories. But all bad memories always fade away when I think of the good ones.

All those lunch breaks where we talked so much, that we didn’t know whose food we were eating!
All those “walk-talk” to the bus stop after a fun wholesome day
Sitting in the class and staring outside the window, those rustling palm trees.
Yelling out to anyone who dared to throw a paper ball over my head. Again !
Laughing at the silliest jokes.
Glaring the life of out of someone because they took your sarcasm very seriously.
All those class programmes, art classes, games periods, cultural events and so much more!
All those hot hands masthi, hangman and other enumerous book games.
All those days we had spent thinking we still had a lot many days in school.
All those excursions.
All those language classes where we wasted half the time in switching classes.
All those dodge ball match fights. And how seriously we took them!
The library’s silence. Only in theory, I mean!
The selfies
All those exam tensions. And the gazillion doubts that came from nowhere just the previous day.
The pranks, the laughter, the chatter.
The wave of confusion that swept the class on the announcement of a surprise geography test.
The parent teachers meetings, and how we dreaded them!
The corridors in which we acted like we were related to Usain bolt, until an angry teacher caught us.
Winning medals. Some academic toppers, others in high jump.
Winks when your friend is asked to come to the board.

And before we even knew what had happened, we stood there in our best attire on a day tagged farewell, ready to leave the second home that had taught us so much.
