Technically, this isn’t my first time remodelling this blog.
A new version of an old idea.
This blog has seen years of all the things that caught my attention and amused me. More than that, it has seen its fair share of extended and irksome hiatuses.
You’ll find the old blog (along with a link to my short story collection, published ten years ago) somewhere down there, tucked away in a small pop-up menu. It is full of stories that were ridiculous, yet, at times, surprisingly thoughtful. Occasional detours that probably served their purpose well enough: experimenting, documenting, and figuring out what I wanted to write.
This was, in many ways, a small space for me to practise creative writing and find others with similar intentions and interests.
With the new blog, however, I want to be a little more refined. As all of us go through our phases of character development, so do our blogs, I suppose.
You will, however, find one old, beloved long-running series from the yesteryears that remains close to my heart (and Sruthi’s), right there in the main menu: Non Compos Mentis
If you’d like to, however, jump in and get an idea of my published work, you’re welcome to pick up my recent poetry collection, Fault Lines, available in paperback and ebook.
The archives can keep the old stories.
The new stories, hopefully, will come with slightly better character development.
So, welcome aboard.
