Amateur travels

Distant skies

And distant dreams

Who knows how to connect the dots

Moving forward

And moving back.

Flaws so charming,

That they blend right in

To the lavender evening skies,

Full of glistening stories.

And if I ever stop to watch,

The confused -noisy stars

And rerun the happy times,

Gibberish chaos engulfs me,

And pushes me to a carraige,

That ends up in some reckless town,

Where voiceless canaries fly

And the dark night’s lost its Orion.

But, it is here I stand,

On the departing roads,

With a homeless expression,

Awaiting carnivals that are yet to come.

And in the distant,

Past the fog,

Past all the insane possibilities,

I can rejoice,

In expectancy.

  1. This is a beautiful poem full of hopefully adventures to come and sense of excitement and memories that comes in whirlwind as one attends a carnival or fair. 🤗😊
