What categories can the prompts be used for?
Anything if you ask me. Descriptions of a photo you took, a short story, idea about something you just painted, something poetic, and everything and anything as long as you make use of the prompt, it’s accepted 👍
Now that we are done with the rules, here’s the prompt:
Red plaid shirt
First of all, I take immense pleasure to inform you guys that I own a red plaid shirt and it’s a recent one that I bought from an exhibition that is so very familiar to me and my mom.
Now there are some dresses that you can’t help but like because no matter what they never make you uncomfortable and itchy in anyway.
And my red plaid shirt is one such example!
And since we can use that as very comfortable metaphor, I intend to do the same😏.
Here’s a poem that I owe to my shirt!
Spread it out!
The rough texture
Runs like melting solid
On her impudent palm.
The years it’s seen
The dust laden
Layer covering it
While it stay strewn
On the ignored attic
Invisible in the nescient clouds
High up above.
She’d worn it to wars
To treaties and merry spurious parties.
Torn and stretched
Again and yet again
Seeing a new day
Just like she’d made it out
Of all the hard shelled days.
Running her irregular fingers
Through the red plaid shirt
Black, white and grey
For that single spot of red
Over the distressing grey.
Ignore the other stuff in the picture!
