What is this tag all about?
In the words of the host:
“Everyone loves quotes right? So l figured to introduce a bit of light-hearted fun with this series. It’s simple – Every day l will pick a topic, post 2 quotes and nominate 3 bloggers, who in turn will post 2 quotes on that topic and nominate 3 bloggers of their own and let’s see how far we can take that topic for the day.”
1 Thank the Selector and do not forget to tag/create a “ping-back!”
2 Post 2 quotes for the dedicated ‘Topic of the Day.’
3 Select 3 bloggers to take part in ‘3.2.1 Quote Me!’
The topic for today : CHANGE
Here’s my entry!
This is one story that I remember listening to, before watching the movie. Yeah, the whole deal about glass slippers, magic, evil step- sisters was what my dad first told me when I was a little toddler. And one thing that was very, very evident in that story was how despite everything, Cinderella never stopped hoping for the better. Perhaps, ‘hope’ is one of the best lessons we learn from this so very exaggerated, far from reality fairy tale. And maybe the smallest ray of hope, that those glass slippers that rightly belong to us, might after all end up fitting us, and changing our lives forever, is what we actually need at the end of the day!
You got metamorphosis of a butterfly as an example for this. The ‘gorgeous’ part makes it sound nice. But how to deal with the first two steps?
That’s when I found this quote (I’m breaking rules. Again!)
YEAH! You show up anyway!!
