Since I like easily understand-able (is there a word?) and less exaggerated quotes, I decided I’ll chose something extremely simple for today.
But before that, I’d like to thank Richa from iscriblr, for tagging me to participate in this contest. So here’s Day 2 for you:
- If it’s that easy and simple, then why aren’t many people doing something more than just reading it and carrying on with their lives that appear to them as so complicated and unfair.
- These words are quite close to me, because I remember one of my favourite teacher in eighth grade, repeating this almost everyday in class. She kept saying it. “No matter what happens, life remains beautiful.”
It’s all in the perspective isn’t it? Have I changed for the better by reading (/hearing to) this quote? Not entirely. I won’t deny cribbing and complaining about life’s unfair, unwanted, seemingly unnecessary turns that end up shattering all my plans and ideas for my future. But I’m learning to hold on to the little bits and pieces still left in me. I’m gathering new and better ones on my way. And more than anything I’m realizing that it is necessary to be happy and content with what pieces you have left in you, because believe it or not, there are others who have definitely had it worse.
So, life is beautiful. It’s just the way you see it.
Have a great day!
