Quote Challenge: Day 2 and Day 3

As I said earlier, this month and the next is kind of hectic. Lots of exams (had two yesterday, which didn’t go quite that well, and had to eat half a pack of ice cream to get over it), results, counselling and college admission forms to fill. And I don’t think I’ll be back here until the coming Wednesday, so here’s my post on the Quote challenge for today and yesterday. I know I’m kind of moulding the rules, but I hope that’s Okay!

I once again thank PTSD Gal, for nominating me to participate in this challenge. Hers is an amazing blog, so don’t forget to check it out!

Quote for Day 2:

A random quote on Quora that I couldn’t help but download and annoy my storage space (fine, I’ve complained about it enough. I’ll stop!)

Why I like this quote?

Because, it gives you the hope that your life can change for the better. And your efforts will never go in vain. If you have read my The Effort or the Result?, you know that I strongly believe that every effort you put in, pays off some way or the other. And sometimes in the most unexpected way. And that’s amazing isn’t it. That makes it many times more beautiful and satisfying.

And if it isn’t working, then you can work it out. You can try changing the course of things. Sometimes it’ll work. And sometimes it won’t. But if you want it so badly, it’s always worth the effort.

My nominations:

  1. What tempts my palate
  2. La Tour Abolie
  3. Of what I choose to be

Quote for Day 3:

This is probably one of my favourite quotes. Because its from my favourite book The Alchemist.

These lines are spoken by the camel owner when he, the boy and the Englishman are making their way across the desert to reach the oasis. It lays emphasis on being in the present, learning to celebrate life, the way it comes, to embrace it and most importantly live it. I won’t dig deeper and ruin it’s essence for you. It’s so simple and so conveying, that it would be a shame if I just keep babbling about my opinion.

My nominations:

  1. The Reckoning- Morality Park
  2. This girl’s got curves
  3. Oh, border!

And since, I have already broken the rules, here’s one honourable mention:
